My texts aren't sending
Work through these in order. The first one that matches is usually the cause.
1. Texting isn’t set up yet
Section titled “1. Texting isn’t set up yet”If the composer shows Texting Not Available Yet with Complete Twilio Setup, your organization can’t text yet. Open the organization menu → Phone → Registration and check the Texting registration card. US texting needs carrier registration, which usually takes 3 to 7 days after it is submitted. Calls and email work in the meantime. See A2P registration and texting compliance.
2. The line can’t send texts
Section titled “2. The line can’t send texts”Goliath only sends from a line that can text. Check the From line in the composer, then the line itself in the organization menu → Phone → Numbers. See Sending text messages.
3. The number can’t receive this text
Section titled “3. The number can’t receive this text”A number marked as not accepting texts is left out of the composer. Pick another mobile number for the contact, or check whether the contact asked you to stop. See SMS carrier compliance.
4. A workflow’s texts stopped
Section titled “4. A workflow’s texts stopped”A workflow that Goliath stopped reads Suspended on the Workflows tab of Automations, with the reason, such as Sending number blocked or No texts are getting through. Open it to see what to do. See Publish, pause, and resume workflows.
5. All sending is paused
Section titled “5. All sending is paused”If the Dashboard shows All outreach is paused, an admin turned on Pause everything. Workflows and AI employees hold their texts until it is resumed; a text you send yourself from a conversation still goes out. See Pause everything.
