Notification preferences
Open the profile menu → Notifications to manage your own delivery preferences. These settings belong to your user account; changing them does not change another teammate’s preferences.

Choose how we reach you
Section titled “Choose how we reach you”The page has two parts: How we reach you, then what you are notified about. How we reach you has switches for Email, In-app, SMS and Browser Push. The kinds of notification below are sent on the channels you turn on here, with the two text exceptions under SMS; there is no separate channel choice per kind.
- Email uses the email address shown on the page.
- In-app is the bell at the top of every page.
- SMS is off until you turn it on (notification texts are opt-in), and
unavailable until your profile has a phone number. Two kinds of text can
still reach you while this switch is off:
- A workflow step built to text a teammate texts you when it names you, because someone in your organization chose that text for the workflow. To stop those texts, ask whoever owns the workflow to change the step.
- Texts about Messages from AI employees (an AI employee handing a conversation to you). Workspace setup can turn these texts on for the people it was told to loop in when an employee hands off a lead, or for an organization admin when it named nobody; while they are on and your profile has a phone number, they reach you even with this switch off. Turning the SMS switch off turns these texts off too; turning it on turns them back on while Messages from AI employees is on. Handoff texts are batched into one text every 10 minutes.
- Browser Push is specific to the browser/device you are using. Turning it on asks the browser for permission. On iOS, the page may need to be added to the Home Screen before push can be enabled. A browser that has blocked permission must be changed in that browser’s settings before it can receive push alerts.
Choose when notification emails arrive
Section titled “Choose when notification emails arrive”With Email on, pick As it happens (one email a few minutes after a notification, with anything else that came in) or Daily (one email each morning at 8am in your time zone with everything since the last one). Hand-offs from AI employees and workflow pages still arrive right away on Daily. This changes only when emails are sent, not which ones.
Choose what you’re notified about
Section titled “Choose what you’re notified about”Below the channels, each kind of notification has one switch, in three groups:
- Your contacts: Texts from your contacts, Missed calls, New leads, Mentions and replies, Messages from AI employees and Contact assignments.
- Your work: Appointments, Tasks assigned to you, Deal updates, Contracts and Imports and data. Some workspaces also see Tasks due.
- Account: Billing and credits and Account problems.
Each row says what it covers. With Contact assignments on, choose As Agent, As Contributor, or both.
Some emails are always sent, whatever you choose here: invitations, credits running out, and the warning before an account shuts down. To change your email or phone number, go to your profile settings.
If you can view contracts, a Contracts section at the bottom shows who on your team hears about each contract event; changing it needs permission to manage contracts.
If browser push cannot be turned on
Section titled “If browser push cannot be turned on”The Browser Push row explains the current device state. It can be unavailable because the browser does not support push, the account is not configured for it, permission was blocked, or an iOS device is not using the installed web app. You can still switch off a push preference that was enabled on another device.
