Manage people, seats, and assigned numbers

Open the organization menu → Organization → People. The People section is the current member roster for the organization. It shows who belongs to the organization, the numbers they answer on, and the seats they use.

The Organization page with its People section open.

  1. Open the People section.
  2. Select Invite member.
  3. Enter the recipient details in the invitation dialog and complete the flow.
  4. Track the person in the roster after they accept the invitation.

The dialog opens on Direct Invite, where you choose a user role and enter the recipient’s email address. It also offers a Permanent Link tab for a shareable invitation link. Do not select Invite to Team until the role and recipient are correct.

Inviting past the plan’s included seats is never blocked: on an active paid subscription, when the invitee accepts, Goliath adds one paid seat to the subscription automatically. Use Buy seats to add capacity ahead of time. An organization with no plan is asked to choose one before it can add more seats. For what each role can see and do, and what a teammate costs, see Roles and permissions.

Search members by name, email address, or phone number. The roster can also surface members who need attention or have no connected mailbox. When a filter is active, choose All to return to the full list. Removed members can be shown from the roster when the organization has archived entries.

Select the member’s phone-management action to open their phone sheet. From there, an authorized user can assign an available organization number, add a number through the number flow, choose a primary number, unassign a number, or release a managed number.

Unassigning and releasing are different actions:

  • Unassign keeps the number in the organization’s available pool so it can be given to another member.
  • Release relinquishes the managed number from the organization.

The phone sheet also contains the member’s voicemail templates and the line-specific inbound-contact setup. For organization-wide line inventory, open Phone numbers. For the defaults that select inbound ownership or outbound lines, see Phone routing.
