Review probate leads

The current Properties workspace and its filter controls.

Probate leads live on the Properties page. There is no separate probate workspace: an old probate-leads link opens Properties with the probate filter already applied.

  1. In the sidebar, select Properties.
  2. In the quick-filter bar, open Signals and select Probate.
  3. To narrow by will status, open the filter builder, search for Will Status, and select Intestate (no will), Testate (will admitted) or Undetermined. Will Status stays unavailable until Probate is selected.

Undetermined means the probate filing did not say whether a will was admitted. Most filings do not.

When the filter selects Probate or a will status, the table adds four columns:

  • Will Status: Intestate, Testate or Undetermined, across every probate filing on the property.
  • Decedent: the person the filing names as deceased. The name is left out when the property carries more than one deceased person or more than one case, rather than risk naming the wrong family.
  • Probate Case: the case number, with the court and county beneath it.
  • Probate Filed: the date the estate was filed, with the date of death when the notice states it.

While Probate is selected, the four columns stay on and their switches in Display are locked. On any other view you can turn them on or off from Display. On a phone, the same facts appear as a line on each property card.

Each row is one property. An estate with several properties appears as several rows that share the same case number.

Open the filter builder and use Location → County, Property → Estimated Value ($), or Signals → Signal date. While Probate is selected, Signal date narrows by the probate event’s date.

Select the properties you want, then select Download file in the bulk bar. When the export is ready in Library → Downloads, choose the Probate lead sheet preset in the download dialog for one caller-ready row per property, with the case number, decedent, personal representative, attorney and relatives.

Probate status and the related fields are research signals, not legal advice or proof of a person’s identity, authority, or estate status. Confirm the record before outreach or a legal decision.
