Use the property map

Open the map
Section titled “Open the map”Open Properties, then use Display to select a map or split display. Map markers represent the property records in the current result set; select one to open that property’s details.
The map is another view of the Properties search, not a separate data source. Filters already applied in the table continue to apply on the map.
Search the visible area
Section titled “Search the visible area”- Pan and zoom the map to the area you want to investigate.
- Select Search this area when the control is available.
- Review the refreshed result set and add other property filters if needed.
Searching the viewport writes a geographic boundary into the current property search. If a named city, county, state, or ZIP filter is also active, the viewport and named location are combined. Use the map’s location notice to clear the named location when that combination is not intended.
Draw a custom boundary
Section titled “Draw a custom boundary”Use the map’s drawing control to outline the area you want to search. The map passes the selected polygon into the Properties filter state, resets results to the first page, and keeps the boundary as part of the current search. Clear the drawn polygon to remove its associated map boundary.
Use a polygon for an irregular target area; use Search this area for the current viewport. In either case, verify the matching records before saving a filter, exporting data, or requesting skip tracing.
Coverage notices
Section titled “Coverage notices”The map can display an in-product signal-coverage notice for a selected county when the organization has catalyst-event access. Treat that notice as the current product signal for the chosen area. The app does not expose a public help-center coverage table, a data-freshness guarantee, or a claim that leads are exclusive.
