Lead routing
Open the organization menu → Organization → Leads & sending. The Lead routing row answers one question for the whole workspace: Who gets new leads? The row says what uses the answer: Skip trace (new contacts), the contacts a skip trace creates.
Anyone who can open the organization menu → Organization can see the setting. Only organization admins can change it; anyone else sees Only organization admins can change who gets new leads.
Choose who gets new leads
Section titled “Choose who gets new leads”Pick one of the three options:
- Just me: every new lead is yours. It saves as soon as you pick it.
- Split evenly between people: new leads are shared out evenly between the people you pick. Pick at least two teammates; until you do, the row reads Not saved yet: pick at least two teammates.
- One specific person: every new lead goes to the teammate you pick. Until you pick one, the row reads Not saved yet: pick a teammate.
There is no save button: the setting saves once the option names enough people. While an answer is not saved yet, new leads keep following the last saved one, and Keep current puts the row back to it. A change applies to the next new lead.
You can only pick active members of your organization.
When the row reads Not set: new leads go to nobody, a new lead that follows this setting gets no Agent from it. The row also reads this when everyone it named has left the organization.
If Goliath set up your workspace
Section titled “If Goliath set up your workspace”Workspace setup fills this in from your answer to Who on your team works new leads? If setup had no answer, or named someone it could not match to a teammate, it fills in an organization admin instead. Once someone saves the setting here, setup no longer changes it. See Complete organization setup.
What follows this setting
Section titled “What follows this setting”- A property workflow’s create-contact step whose agent choice reads Assigned by Lead routing (Settings). Choosing another option on that step makes the step use its own pick instead; the step offers the Lead routing option only while it is the one in use.
- An AI employee whose Default Agent is Same as new leads: a contact it works that no teammate is responsible for yet gets whoever Lead routing names. If it names nobody, nobody is assigned.
Contacts who call or text in are decided by inbound setup first, not by this setting. See Inbound setup and Phone routing. The one case that reaches Lead routing is a number held by an AI employee whose Default Agent is Same as new leads: when inbound setup names no owner for the new contact, Lead routing does.
