Send and reply to email

Goliath sends email through a connected Google or Microsoft mailbox. Before you send, connect at least one mailbox in the organization menu → Integrations.
Connect and choose a mailbox
Section titled “Connect and choose a mailbox”- Open the organization menu → Integrations.
- Select the Google or Microsoft card in the email-and-calendar section.
- Select Connect Google or Connect Microsoft and complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Return to the card and confirm the mailbox is listed.
You can connect more than one account for either provider. Use the account controls to set the default sending mailbox, reconnect an account, manage its available settings, or disconnect it. Disconnecting may ask you to resolve dependencies that use that email identity before it can finish.
Start a new email
Section titled “Start a new email”You can start an email from a contact’s email action, from another supported record action, or from the app’s email quick action. In the composer:
- Confirm the From mailbox.
- Add or confirm the To recipient, then add Cc or Bcc when needed.
- Enter a subject and message body.
- Select Send when the recipient, sender, and content are correct.
When no eligible mailbox is connected, the composer shows Connect Email instead of sending. Use that action to begin the connection flow, then return to the draft.
Reply in Inbox
Section titled “Reply in Inbox”Open Inbox, choose Emails, and select an existing thread. The thread provides the reply controls appropriate to that message. Check the selected sender and recipients before sending a reply, reply-all, or forward.
Templates, signatures, and attachments
Section titled “Templates, signatures, and attachments”The composer can apply an email template, which replaces the draft’s subject, body, and attachments with the selected template’s rendered content. Review the result for the current contact before sending.
Use Attach files to add files or Insert inline image for an image in the body. The composer validates attachments against the selected mailbox’s limits. Use the signature selector when one is available; Gmail signatures are read from the connected Gmail identity, and the selector offers a reconnect path when none are available. Only Gmail mailboxes have signatures: a Microsoft mailbox sends without one. Gmail shares only its default signature with Goliath, so change that one in Gmail. To keep more signatures for a mailbox, go to Integrations → Google, select the settings (gear) icon on that mailbox, and use Add signature under Signatures; you can rename, edit or delete them there, and pick one on any email from that mailbox. A Goliath signature keeps text, links and formatting; images in it must be web links or images inserted with the image button, and merge fields aren’t allowed.
Use Discard draft only when you want to clear the message’s recipients, subject, content, sender selection, and attachments.
