Use the Contacts Table and Map

Change the Contacts display

Open Contacts and use the Display control in the toolbar to choose the columns shown in the table, drag columns into the order you want, or switch between List and Split. Split opens the map alongside the contact table. These display preferences are personal, so adjust them to the fields your role needs to scan first.

Work from the map

The map plots contacts with available coordinates. Select a marker to open that contact, just as you would select a row in the table. Your table selection is reflected on the map, so you can use a geographic view before applying a bulk action.

The Contacts map supports polygon drawing and can use the current map viewport for a location-based search when those controls are available. Apply filters first when you need a more specific audience, then use the map to understand where those matching contacts are located.

Caution

Map visibility depends on the addresses and coordinates available on records. A contact without a mappable location will not appear as a marker merely because it matches the table filters.
