Go live

A new workspace that Goliath builds for you during onboarding does not start messaging your leads on its own. Once carriers approve your texting, or once your phone number is set up if you skipped texting, an organization admin reviews exactly what will start and taps Go live. Until then, nothing Goliath set up for you sends automatically unless you turn it on yourself first. A text or email you write and send yourself from a conversation is not held.

Goliath emails you when carriers approve your texting (Texting approved. Review and go live), with a link to the Go live page. Until then, the page reads Carriers are still reviewing your texting. We’ll email you when you can go live.

If you asked for something during setup that Goliath is still checking, the page says how many things are still being checked, and you can go live once each one is answered.

If you chose Skip for now for texting during setup, there is no carrier approval to wait for: you can review and go live once your phone number is set up. If nothing Goliath built for you sends texts (no text campaign and no AI employee), you can go live as soon as it is built, without waiting for carriers or a number.

Only organization admins can review and go live.

The Go live page, Review what will start, lists what tapping it switches on:

  • Your text campaign: its name, its first text, and the hours it sends. New leads that match get this first text; your existing contacts are not texted.
  • Your AI employee: who starts replying to leads who text back and hands them to you when they are ready. If you skipped texting, the page says it starts answering your leads by phone and email instead.
  • Follow-up automations: workflows that run when a lead’s status changes. They message your team, never the lead.

Select Go live. The page says it is switching everything on, which takes a minute; if it does not finish, select Try again. If your phone number is not ready yet, the page reads Waiting for your phone number instead and offers no Try again: Goliath switches everything on as soon as the number is ready, and nothing else is needed from you. When it is done, the page reads You’re live.

Goliath does not switch on what it set up for you until you go live. You can turn any of it on sooner, the same way as anything else: activate one of the workflows (your text campaign, skip trace or status workflows) or turn on the AI employee. Going live then switches on whatever is still off.
