Set up a webhook

Webhooks are set up in workflows, on the Workflows tab of Automations, not on the Integrations page.

  1. Select New workflow, then Start from scratch, and create an event workflow. Its trigger is a webhook.
  2. Copy the URL its trigger shows into the external service’s HTTP POST configuration.
  3. Add the steps that should run for each request, for example finding or creating the contact the request describes.
  4. Activate the workflow.

Add a Send webhook step to a contact, property, deal or appointment workflow, and enter the URL it should post to.

A switched-on URL created from the Integrations page’s old Webhooks card was moved onto a workflow of its own, named after its label, in a Webhooks folder, and keeps working at the same URL. See Webhooks have moved to Workflows.

Treat every webhook URL as a credential.
