Move a Property to Another Contact

A property is linked to contacts from each contact’s side. One property can be linked to several contacts, and Goliath has no setting for a property’s single “primary contact”. To change who a property belongs to, link the right contact to it and remove it from the wrong one.

The only “primary” choice is the other way round: each contact has a primary property, the first one in its Properties list.

  1. Open the right person’s record from Contacts. If they have no record yet, create a contact for them first.
  2. Use the edit control next to the contact information to open the contact-information dialog.
  3. In the Properties section, choose Add property, search for the property’s address, and select it.
  4. To make it this contact’s primary property, open the row’s menu and choose Set as primary. You can also drag the row to the top of the list.
  5. Save the change.

Remove the property from the wrong contact

Section titled “Remove the property from the wrong contact”
  1. Open the wrong contact’s record.
  2. Open the contact-information dialog again, and in the Properties section open the property row’s menu.
  3. Choose Delete address, then save.

Removing a property only unlinks it from that contact. The property and the contact both stay, along with the contact’s notes, emails and appointments. If the wrong contact also holds the right person’s phone number or email address, move those over as well. See Edit a contact.

To start outreach to the right person, trigger a workflow on their record.
