Search and filter properties
Start a property search
Section titled “Start a property search”Open Properties from the main sidebar. The page opens at the property table and supports a schema-driven filter builder, saved filters, a map boundary, and bulk actions for the matching rows.
Select Apply filters to build a search, choose the field and value you need, then apply the filter set. Add more conditions when you need a narrower result. The app stores the resulting filter state in the Properties URL, so browser back/forward and a shared Properties link retain the active search state.

Use supported quick filters
Section titled “Use supported quick filters”The quick-filter groups currently cover property type, listing, owner, signals, and skip-trace status. The available choices include:
- Single Family, Multi-Family, and Lot for property type.
- MLS For Sale, Not On Market, Recently Sold, and Failed Listing for listing status.
- Absentee Owner, Owner Occupied, and Out of State Owner for owner characteristics.
- Skip Traced and Not Skip Traced for the lookup state of a property.
- Pre-Foreclosure, Foreclosure, Tax Delinquent, Lien, Probate, and Pre-Probate for property signals.
Pre-Foreclosure is a family filter: it includes the signal labels Goliath uses for notices of default, lis pendens, and trustee or sheriff sales. It does not include the separate Foreclosure signal, so add Foreclosure too when that is part of the search you intend.
Search a location or a map area
Section titled “Search a location or a map area”Use the location field in the filter builder for named city, county, state, or ZIP locations. For an irregular neighborhood or a visible part of the map, switch the display to a map or split view and use Search this area or draw a polygon. Those map boundaries become part of the active property search.
If you use both a named location and a viewport boundary, the results are the overlap. The map presents a location notice with a way to clear the named location when you mean to search only the visible area.
Save a reusable search
Section titled “Save a reusable search”After applying the filters, use the filter-saving control to name the search. The Properties sidebar keeps saved filters and lists separately: a saved filter re-runs criteria, while a list holds the records selected at a point in time.
Do not turn a result count into a promise of coverage, freshness, exclusivity, or property condition. The search reflects the records and filters returned to the organization at that time; review the individual records before outreach, export, or underwriting.
