Teach and correct Memory
Goliath learns from what people tell it and from how your team works. You can also tell it things directly, and correct or remove anything it got wrong. Open a memory from Memory Home first.
You can change your own memory, the Team memory if you are an organization admin, and the memory of an AI employee or contact you can open. A teammate’s memory is read-only to you.
Add a note
Section titled “Add a note”- Open the memory and stay on the Notes tab.
- Type into Add a note to … above the notes, for example “Never call before 9am the lead’s time”.
- Press Enter.
Goliath files the note under the right kind (a rule, a preference, a fact and so on) and marks it Stated, because a person said it. A memory with no notes yet suggests a few examples you can start from.
Edit, pin or forget a note
Section titled “Edit, pin or forget a note”Hover over a note, or open its … menu:
- Edit: change the wording.
- Pin: Goliath keeps the note exactly as it is when it tidies the memory overnight. Unpin lets it change the note again.
- Forget…: Goliath stops using the note right away. You can add an optional reason, such as “no longer true since we changed vendors”.
A forgotten note is not deleted. Turn on Include forgotten in the filter to see it again, then select Restore to bring it back.
Find a note
Section titled “Find a note”- The search box beside the views searches this memory only. The search on Memory Home searches every memory you can open.
- The filter (All kinds) narrows the notes to one kind, and its Show options limit them to Only what people said, Only pinned, or Include forgotten.
- List shows every note grouped by kind. Journal shows them by the day they changed.
What Goliath changes overnight
Section titled “What Goliath changes overnight”Goliath tidies memories overnight: it merges notes that say the same thing, retires notes that are out of date, and can suggest a trust step. Each night’s changes appear in the Journal as one entry, such as “Goliath tidied your memory”. A change you can reverse has its own Undo.
On your own memory, Dream now in the header runs that tidy-up straight away instead of waiting for the night.
Ask about notes
Section titled “Ask about notes”In the Map view, select notes (or a cluster of them) and choose Ask about these to open Ask Goliath with those notes attached.
