Use notifications
Open notifications
Section titled “Open notifications”Select the bell at the top right of any page to see recent notifications in a panel and act on them there. On a phone, Notifications is a row in the main menu. The full Notifications page keeps search and history; open it by typing “Notifications” in the search bar at the top of the app. The page offers All, Unread, and Read views. All and Unread can be shared or revisited through the page URL; Read is a local session view.

Select a notification to open the related source when it is available. This may lead to a record, communication, task, or another area of Goliath depending on the notification type.
Mark items read or unread
Section titled “Mark items read or unread”Opening or reviewing an item can mark it seen. You can also select notification rows and use the toolbar to mark the selection read or unread. The toolbar label adapts to the selected items, so check it before applying a bulk change.
Use Unread to focus on new work. Read items are still available through the Read view during the current session, so marking an item read does not erase the underlying activity.
Delete notifications
Section titled “Delete notifications”Select one or more notification rows, then use Delete notifications in the toolbar and confirm Delete. The confirmation states that the action cannot be undone. Deleting a notification removes the notification item; it does not delete the contact, task, communication, or other source record that prompted it.
Goliath reports when only some selected notifications could be deleted. In that case, review the remaining items and try again.
Notification preferences
Section titled “Notification preferences”Open the profile menu → Notifications to change the delivery channels and presets available to you. Preferences are managed independently from merely marking an in-app notification read.
