Create a Contact
Choose the right starting point
Section titled “Choose the right starting point”Use Add Contact in the upper-right corner of Contacts when you want to add one person. The current dialog has three tabs:
- Create for information you already have.
- Bulk Upload to choose an import source.
- Skip Trace when you have an owner’s address and want to look up contact information before creating a record.
Create one contact directly
Section titled “Create one contact directly”- Open Contacts and select Add Contact.
- Keep the Create tab selected.
- Enter the required Name. Add a phone number, email address, property address, mailing address, or available custom fields when you have them.
- Use the + controls to add another phone number or email address. Choose the phone’s type when entering one.
- Select Create Contact. On success, Goliath confirms the contact was created and closes the dialog.

You can create a name-only contact. Add contact methods and other details later from the contact record when they become available.
Start an import or a skip trace instead
Section titled “Start an import or a skip trace instead”Choose Bulk Upload when the contacts are in a file or a public Google Sheets spreadsheet. The current choices are Spreadsheet File for .csv, .xls, or .xlsx files and Google Sheets for a public spreadsheet link. Selecting a source starts the import flow; follow Upload Contacts for the mapping and review steps.

Choose Skip Trace when you know an owner’s address. The form requires Line 1 plus either a ZIP code or both city and state before Skip Trace becomes available. The UI shows the credit requirement before you run the lookup. Review returned information before using Use & Create Contact; running the trace can consume credits.
