Edit a Contact

Open a record from Contacts, then use the edit control next to the contact information. The contact-information dialog is where you update the record’s basic details, including its phone numbers and email addresses.

  1. In the phone-number section, choose the add control to add a number, or select an existing number to edit it.
  2. Enter the phone number and choose its type: Mobile, Landline, Home, or Unknown.
  3. Select Mark as primary when this should be the contact’s primary number.
  4. Save the change. To remove an existing number, open it and choose Remove this phone number.

When you change the number itself, Goliath replaces that phone entry with the new number. New or changed phone numbers start as unverified; do not treat the edit screen as a phone-verification workflow.

  1. In the email section, choose the add control to add an address, or select an existing address to edit it.
  2. Enter the email address.
  3. Select Mark as primary if it should be the primary address.
  4. Save the change. To remove an existing address, open it and choose Remove this email.

Changing an address replaces the existing email entry with the new one, which starts as unverified.
