Update Deal Team, Value, and Close Date
Update the deal record
Section titled “Update the deal record”Open a deal from Board or List view. Its detail editor includes the Team, Close date, Deal value, and Commission fields, as well as pipeline, stage, contacts, properties, description, and custom fields.
Choose the people who should be on the deal in Team. Goliath supports a team of users on a deal; do not assume the product has a separate single-owner field or that changing Team transfers every responsibility automatically.
Set the expected close date, deal value, and commission directly in their respective fields. Save through the editor’s available save action. The selected pipeline determines which stages and pipeline-scoped custom fields are available.
Update several deals at once
Section titled “Update several deals at once”Use Deals Select → Edit when the same change should apply to several records. See Bulk Update Deals for the field-by-field behavior that prevents untouched values from being overwritten.
