Bring your own Twilio account

If your organization already owns numbers and a texting program in Twilio, connect that account instead of purchasing duplicate managed numbers.

Only organization administrators can connect an account because the flow accepts account credentials and changes the connected numbers’ webhook configuration.

The current Connect your own Twilio Credentials step, with the required Account SID and Auth token fields and the remaining wizard steps.

  1. Open the organization menu → Phone → Registration.
  2. Select Connect your own Twilio (or Reconnect if the connection needs new credentials).
  3. Enter the Twilio Account SID and Auth token shown in the Twilio console under Account → Keys & credentials.
  4. Select the account’s A2P campaign and the numbers that Goliath should connect.
  5. Confirm what the connected account is for and acknowledge the connection details.
  6. Complete the connection and return to the Registration panel to review the result.

The wizard progresses through credentials, campaign, numbers, purpose, confirmation, and connection progress. Review the selected numbers carefully: connecting an account changes how those lines are handled by Goliath.

Connected lines appear in the organization menu → Phone → Numbers. Use the organization menu → Organization → People to attach a line to a teammate and the organization menu → Phone → Routing to set the organization’s inbound and outbound defaults.

To disconnect or change the selected campaign, return to the own-Twilio section of the Registration panel. Treat a disconnect as a service-affecting change: it removes Goliath’s connection to that account rather than merely hiding it from the list.
