Trust in Memory

Trust decides what Goliath may do for you on its own. It is set separately for each kind of action, such as texting people or making bulk changes, and it is yours: open the Trust tab of your own memory in Memory.

AI employees have no trust of their own. When an employee acts, it follows the trust of the person it acts for: whoever holds the line it texts from or owns the mailbox it emails from, otherwise the contact’s Agent, otherwise the employee’s manager. The employee’s settings say whose trust it follows.

Column What it means
On its own Goliath does it without asking.
Ask first Goliath suggests it for you to approve.
Never Goliath never does it.

Each kind of action is one card in one column:

Kind Covers Starts in
Text people Texts from your line. On its own
Email people Emails from your mailbox. Ask first
Update your CRM Contact details, notes, tasks, appointments, deals and stages, assignments, archive and do-not-contact, pausing one contact’s workflow. On its own
Call people An AI employee dialing your contacts. Ask first
Make bulk changes Changing many records in one go. Ask first
Change automations Publishing, pausing or resuming a workflow, starting one for a contact, sending a webhook, changing an AI employee, editing a live form, scheduled tasks. Ask first (an AI employee starting a workflow for your contact: On its own, until you move this card)
Delete for good Deletes with no undo: a deal, a workflow, a form, a custom field, an appointment, an employee. Ask first
Manage your team Suspending a member, user groups, sharing, teammates’ goals. Admins only. Ask first

A card shows its note, how often you approved, edited or dismissed what Goliath suggested (“N% untouched”), how many rules it has, and when it last moved. A card in Never shows only its name.

Drag a card to another column, or open its … menu and choose Move to. The move saves at once, and the message that confirms it offers Undo. On a phone, the columns become a switcher at the top and cards move through the menu.

When the evidence is strong enough, Goliath proposes moving a card up, for example from Ask first to On its own. The proposal sits at the top of the column it would move into.

  • Let Goliath approves the move for that kind of action only.
  • Not yet declines it.

An admin can open a teammate’s Trust tab. There a card can only move down, to a more careful column. Only the teammate can move their own cards up, and Goliath’s proposals wait for them.

Select a card to open it. There you can:

  • Change its column.
  • Write a Note (up to 500 characters) that Goliath reads whenever it considers that kind of action.
  • Add Rules: a rule makes the kind of action more careful in certain cases, for example “Ask first when a price is mentioned”. The one exception is a “like this” rule saved from Catch up: it lets matching texts or emails go out without asking.
  • Read its Track record: what Goliath did of that kind, split by who it was done for.

Save stays off until you change something, and then says what will happen. Every trust change also appears in the memory’s Journal.
