Configure call list settings

Open Contacts, then use the gear beside the Call lists section to open
Call list settings. You can also reach it from the command palette, or from
the Call list settings link in the short calling preview that Call opens
on a tablet-width window. The page’s address is /dialer/settings, not under the
Phone settings panels; older Settings links redirect there.
Call-list settings are available to organization administrators.
Choose a settings panel
Section titled “Choose a settings panel”The left rail has six panels:
| Panel | What it controls |
|---|---|
| After-call actions | Which next actions callers can take after a call and how those actions behave. |
| Outcomes | The outcomes callers can log and which follow-up actions each outcome offers. |
| Call card fields | Contact details callers can fill in without leaving a call. |
| Voicemail templates | Where callers’ prerecorded voicemail drops are managed. Manage opens Organization → People. |
| Pacing and auto-advance | How quickly a caller moves to the next number. |
| Caller ID | Which of your numbers a call goes out from, by where the contact is. |
The selected panel stays in the page address, so you can share or bookmark a
specific settings area. A link to /dialer/settings with no panel opens After-call actions.
Configure outcomes and follow-up
Section titled “Configure outcomes and follow-up”Use Outcomes to decide which result labels callers can select after a call. For each outcome, configure whether the available follow-up actions should be offered. The After-call actions panel describes the behavior of actions such as creating a task, booking an appointment, creating a deal, updating custom fields, or adding a contact to a follow-up sequence.
Review the caller-facing effect before enabling a follow-up action. These controls affect future call-list work; they do not rewrite work already logged.
Configure the call card and voicemail
Section titled “Configure the call card and voicemail”Use Call card fields to choose the organization custom fields a caller can collect during a call. If a custom field was deleted, it is removed from the saved call-card selection on the next edit.
Voicemail templates does not edit recordings itself. Each member’s prerecorded voicemail drops live on that person’s numbers sheet: select Manage to open Organization → People, then see Use prerecorded voicemail drops and Manage people.
For running a list rather than configuring it, see Call lists.
