Use prerecorded voicemail drops

The current call composer, where an outbound call is prepared before it can become eligible for an in-call voicemail drop.

Goliath supports a prerecorded voicemail drop during an active outbound call. It is not a standalone, bulk, or campaign ringless-voicemail tool.

  1. Open the organization menu → Organization → People.
  2. Select the member’s number in the Numbers column to open their numbers sheet.
  3. Under Voicemail drops, select Record to record in the browser or Upload to use an audio file.
  4. Give the recording a clear name, preview it, and save it.

The Voicemail drops section of a member’s numbers sheet, with Record and Upload and no drops saved yet.

The same area lets you play, rename, reorder, or delete saved recordings. A member can keep up to five prerecorded voicemail templates; Record and Upload turn off once there are five. Recordings and uploaded files must be one minute or shorter.

  1. Start an outbound call from Goliath and wait until the call is active.
  2. When the voicemail greeting begins, select Drop voicemail.
  3. Choose the saved template to play.

Wait for the voicemail beep before selecting a template. The call interface can show a short readiness countdown, and it keeps the template choices disabled until a drop can be attempted. After a successful drop, Goliath ends that call; if the drop fails, review the call state and try only when the interface is ready again.

If no template appears, use Edit templates from the call interface to return to your own number-management sheet. If the templates cannot be loaded, use the call interface’s Retry control before assuming that your saved recordings were removed.

Do not use this in-call feature as a substitute for ringless voicemail or a bulk voicemail send: Goliath does not send ringless voicemail. Use call lists for human power-dialing and in-call voicemail drops, or a workflow’s text steps for automated outreach.
