Goliath Data vs. PropStream vs. BatchLeads: The 2025 Comparison Real Estate Investors Should See

The data platforms real-estate investors rely on are evolving fast.

In 2025, the conversation has shifted from “Who gives me the biggest list?” to “Who helps me close the most deals per marketing dollar?” PropStream and BatchLeads have dominated the industry for years, but a new contender, Goliath Data, is redefining how investors prospect, nurture, and close.

This guide gives an honest comparison across usability, data accuracy, automation, and ROI, so you can see exactly which platform belongs in your stack this year.

1. Core Mission and Design Philosophy

PropStream. Built as a property data aggregator for professionals who want massive lists, filters, and comps. It’s known for the depth of records but feels like a research tool rather than a deal-flow engine.

BatchLeads. Marketed toward wholesalers and flippers who want a combined CRM, SMS platform, and list builder. It’s faster and more marketing-centric than PropStream, but still depends heavily on outbound volume.

Goliath Data. Designed from the ground up for ROI-driven investors. Instead of dumping data into spreadsheets, Goliath plugs everything into an integrated system: Data Pipelines for sourcing, the Command Center for managing activity, and David for predictive seller scoring. It’s not just about data, it’s about turning data into closed deals.

Winner (Core Design): Goliath Data.

PropStream gives you data. BatchLeads gives you tools. Goliath gives you a business system.

2. Data Depth and Accuracy

PropStream

• Strong national coverage with tax, MLS, and mortgage records.
• Data refresh cycles vary by county; some users note lag on ownership updates.
• Excellent for comps but less optimized for live distress indicators.

BatchLeads

• Solid coverage and good layering (vacancy, pre-foreclosure, high equity).
• Focused on delivering quick marketing lists, not deep analytics.

Goliath Data

• Pulls from public and private sources, layering distress, equity, and behavior signals.
• Integrates real-time updates via its Data Pipelines, refreshing key seller metrics hourly (see Pipelines).
• Motivation scoring is built into every record, no guesswork.

Winner (Data Quality): Goliath Data. You get fewer stale leads and more motivated sellers per thousand records.

3. Workflow and Automation

PropStream

• Great for research and list exports.
• Minimal native automation, requires Zapier or CRMs for follow-up.

BatchLeads

• Offers in-platform texting, list stacking, and simple drip campaigns.
• Manual effort is required for scaling beyond a few users.

Goliath Data

• Automation is built in. Prospect → Nurture → Close workflows manage leads through every stage.
• The Command Center tracks KPIs and triggers tasks automatically.
• Connects data ingestion, outreach, and deal tracking with zero spreadsheets.

Winner (Automation): Goliath Data. It runs like an investor’s autopilot.

4. Lead Quality and Conversion Potential

PropStream

• Excellent for pulling massive lists, but conversion rates depend entirely on your marketing.
• Many users burn through lists before finding serious sellers.

BatchLeads

• Faster to contact, but list stacking can still mix motivated and cold owners.
• Works best for high-volume SMS operations.

Goliath Data

• Uses AI-driven scoring (via David) to identify high-probability sellers before competitors.
• Integrates directly into nurturing workflows (Nurture Solution), no manual chasing.
• Result: fewer cold calls, more real conversations.

Winner (Lead Conversion): Goliath Data. Investors report higher deal-to-lead ratios because data quality meets automation.

5. Collaboration and Team Scalability

PropStream – Single-user centric; team functionality limited.
BatchLeads – Supports small teams, but scaling communications or multi-market operations adds cost.
Goliath Data – Built for scaling. Multi-user dashboards, permissions, and integrated CRM within the Command Center.

Winner (Teams): Goliath Data.

6. Pricing and ROI

PropStream is cost-friendly but manual; BatchLeads adds texting costs; Goliath bundles advanced automation and higher-quality leads, which drive stronger net returns per dollar.

Winner (ROI): Goliath Data.

7. Use Cases and Ideal Fit

Verdict: Goliath Data adapts from small operators to enterprise teams without losing efficiency.

8. Transparency and Support

• PropStream: Standard ticket system; educational content is solid, but their UI is outdated.
• BatchLeads: Active community groups, responsive chat.
• Goliath Data: Direct human support plus 1-on-1 onboarding. Client-specific hubs for Investors and Realtors mean tailored help rather than generic replies.

Winner (Support): Goliath Data.

9. When PropStream or BatchLeads Still Make Sense

• PropStream: If you mainly need nationwide comps and historical ownership data.
• BatchLeads: If you rely heavily on mass SMS marketing and already run compliant texting operations.

But if you’re scaling, want fewer moving parts, and value time as much as data, Goliath delivers better ROI long-term.

10. The 2025 Verdict

PropStream remains a powerhouse for research.
BatchLeads is efficient for list marketing.
But Goliath Data combines both, plus automation, AI scoring, and full-funnel execution.

With Goliath’s ecosystem, Data Pipelines feeding your Prospect, Nurture, and Close workflows, you get the ROI advantage that 2025 demands.

• PropStream: Best for data research.
• BatchLeads: Best for marketing volume.
