Mark a TEXT thread HANDLED, the inbox's "no reply needed": it leaves Needs reply (channel NEEDS_RESPONSE) for everyone in the organization until the contact texts again. textConversationId is a MESSAGE row's id; handledThroughMessageId is the newest INBOUND message you read (from getTextThreadMessages), so a reply newer than it keeps the thread in Needs reply. Pass handledThroughMessageId null to put the thread back in Needs reply. Returns false when you cannot act on the thread or the message is not its inbound.

Variables

The example sends only what the schema requires. Some operations also need one of several optional variables (one filter or another, say); the description above says which.

handledThroughMessageIdID

Response

What comes back under data: a list shows as one entry, and a value as its type.

Idempotency

Send an Idempotency-Key of 1 to 255 characters. A finished request retried with the same key replays its stored response, marked Idempotency-Replayed: true; one still in flight returns 409 idempotency_conflict. Keys expire after 24 hours. Write without fear →
