Coverage API
Check which property signals are live in your counties and read the Coverage page through the Goliath developer API
About
Coverage is where Goliath delivers each property signal — foreclosures, preforeclosures, probate, tax delinquency, code violations — county by county. These reads tell you whether a signal is live in your markets before you build on it, and mirror the in-app Coverage page for any state or set of counties.
All operations go through the developer API gateway — one endpoint, called by
operationId. If you haven’t set up a key yet, start with the
Developer API Overview.
Operations
Reading coverage (READ scope)
| operationId | What it does |
|---|---|
getCoverageAvailability |
For each named signalTypes entry (a property signal type such as FORECLOSURE or TAX_DELINQUENT), whether it is live across your organization’s counties: LIVE, BUILDING, REQUESTED, NOT_REQUESTED (nobody has asked yet) or NO_PRODUCT (no coverage exists for that type). Per type: liveCounties of totalCounties, each county’s own status, and promised — true when every county that is not live already holds a promised request, so there is nothing to ask for. |
getCoverageCells |
The Coverage page for a whole state (stateAbbr, e.g. TX) or up to 300 counties (countyFips, five digits): one row per county and signal type (FORECLOSURE, PREFORECLOSURE, PROBATE, PREPROBATE, TAX_DELINQUENCY, CODE_VIOLATION). |
getCoverageCells statuses: LIVE; IN_PROGRESS (being built — expectedBy
is the promised date on your own request); WAITING_ON_COUNTY (the county’s
records have been requested); NOT_AVAILABLE (with notAvailableReason);
NOT_REQUESTED. Two flags qualify a row: delayed means it is live but its
source is currently failing, and partial means it is delivering through a
backstop rather than fully live. delivered30d counts records delivered in the
last 30 days.
