# addContactExternalLink

Add a titled URL to a contact's Links card (getContactConnections externalLinks): a web address, or an app path starting with / (it becomes the app's own URL). Never for a Library file or page: those go on the contact's files with fileLibraryItemsOnContact.

- Call: `POST https://server.goliathdata.com/api/v1/call` with `{ "operationId": "addContactExternalLink", "variables": {...} }`
- Scope: `WRITE`
- Type: mutation
- Idempotency: honors `Idempotency-Key` (24 h)
- Rate-limited: no
